Lewis County man faces more than 20 years in prison on child pornography charge

A judge has sentenced a Lewis County man on a federal child pornography charge.

Ian Toothman, 30, of Jane Lew, will spend 24 years, 4 months in prison for a child pornography charge, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Toothman pleaded guilty in October 2018 to one count of aiding and abetting production of child pornography.  Toothman admitted to producing child pornography in December 2017 in Monongalia County, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

West Virginia State Police investigated.

Toothman also faces sex charges out of Lewis County.
