A man was arrested at the Clarion Hotel Morgan after beating a woman early Saturday morning.

The Morgantown Police Department responded to a disturbance coming from one of the rooms at approximately 2:10 a.m. Jason Grim, 41, of Carmichaels, Pa., answered the hotel room door with cuts on his hands, wrists and forearms, police said.

Police entered the room, found a woman covered in blood and observed blood stains on various items around the room. The woman had visible bruises around her eyes and appeared to have a broken nose, police said.

After further investigation, police confirmed that Grim punched the woman repeatedly in the face and head and hit her in the face with a glass coffee pot.

Grim is charged with malicious wounding.
