Man indicted in Taylor County for selling drugs to man resulting in death


A man was indicted in Taylor County for selling drugs to a man, which allegedly led to his death.

Bryan Knorr, 40, was accusing of selling heroin to Michael Gavitt in January, according to the Taylor County Prosecutor’s Office.

Taylor County Prosecutor John Bord said an indictment accusing Knorr of the crime was unsealed, and Knorr was arrested Tuesday afternoon.

Gavitt died as a result of combining heroin and methamphetamine, according to court documents.

Knorr was charged with delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Tygart Valley Regional Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
