Morgantown man pleads guilty in federal court to drug charge

A Monongalia County man admitted in federal court to a drug charge.

Lemar Conliffe, 43, of Morgantown, pleaded guilty to one count of aiding and abetting distribution of cocaine base.  Conliffe, also known as “AB,” admitted to working with another person to sell cocaine base in April 2018 in Monongalia County, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

Conliffe faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.

The Mon Metro Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated.
