Police arrest man they say robbed a house in Fairmont

Officers with the Fairmont Police Department have arrested a man they said robbed a house.

Police said that on August 14, Anthony Kriner, 40, of North Carolina, entered a house on Walnut Avenue in Fairmont and pointed a gun at the homeowner, demanding money.

After exiting the house, officers said that Kriner observed a friend of the homeowner standing on the porch. Kriner then proceeded to grab a cell phone out of the friend’s hands, point a gun at him, and demanded that the friend give him his watch.

Kriner is charged with robbery and burglary.
