Ritchie County woman arrested after deputies find fentanyl, meth, pills and marijuana

A Ritchie County woman was arrested Tuesday after deputies found methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Deputies responded to a breaking and entering call on Silver Run Road in Cairo in Ritchie County. According to court documents, when deputies arrived on scene, Jessica Bonnell, 35, of Cairo, was standing next to a van.  

Deputies said they could smell an odor consistent of marijuana coming from the vehicle. 

Deputies searched the vehicle and found a container of meth, a container of meth and fentanyl, Tramadol, Clonazepam, Ritalin, Alprazolam, marijuana, along with digital scales and drug paraphernalia, according to the Ritchie County Sheriff’s Department.

Bonnell is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of fentanyl.
