State Police arrest man on drug charges in Barbour County

West Virginia State Police arrested a man on drug charges in Barbour County.

Troopers, along with the Greater Harrison Drug Task Force and the Mountain Lakes Drug and Violent Crime Unit, responded to Jackson Street in Junior to execute a search warrant.

During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement found Donald Lee Blake Jr. inside the home, according to court documents.  Police said they found and seized items pointing to drug distribution.  These items included digital scales, plastic bags, methamphetamine and lorazepam, according to court documents.  Police said they also found a semi-automatic pistol and $874.

According to troopers, Blake stated that he distributed methamphetamine to approximately 10 people in Junior.

Blake is charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver.  He is in Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
