State Police arrest Philippi man they said sexually abused a minor

A 33-year-old Barbour County man has been arrested after forcing a 9-year-old to perform oral sex on him on several occasions, police said.

According to West Virginia State Police, Keith Walker, 33, of Philippi was arrested on Monday for first degree sexual abuse following a forensic interview with the 9-year-old victim at the Harrison County Children Advocacy Center in Clarksburg.

During the interview with the victim, police said they learned that Walker had forced the victim to perform oral sex on him on several occasions. Police also said that during the interview the victim was able to describe the incidents in detail.

Walker is charged with sexual abuse by parent, guardian, or custodian or person in a position of trust to a child.
