The West Virginia State Police has identified the woman arrested with Christopher Dotson in Beverly on Sunday night.

A man charged with first-degree murder in Braxton County was arrested in Randolph County after he failed to appear for a court hearing on April 17.

The U.S. Marshals Service says Christopher Dotson was arrested at 7:45 Sunday evening at a mobile home on Elderberry Drive in Beverly.

Dotson was expected to appear for a hearing in Braxton County on April 17 on a first-degree murder charge.  He was charged with the crime in 2017 and was released on bond in November 2018.

Supervisory Deputy Terry Moore says a loaded firearm was located near Dotson, and another woman in the home with him at the time was also arrested.

Dotson will be lodged in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
