A man who robbed a Clarksburg bank last July entered a guilty plea in Harrison County Circuit Court.

Thomas Burgoyne Jr., 45, of Clarksburg, pleaded guilty to felony bank robbery, according to Harrison County Prosecuting Attorney Rachel Romano.

Burgoyne admitted to robbing the Clarksburg MVB Bank on July 12, for which he’ll face 10 to 20 years in prison, Romano said.

Burgoyne previously spent seven years in federal prison for bank robberies he committed in Oregon in 2007 and 2010, according to court documents.

Judge Thomas Bedell will sentence Burgoyne on April 24.
