Doddridge County ATV racer competes in ‘Vegas to Reno’ race to honor veterans

A Doddridge County professional ATV racer is honoring the military by competing in the toughest ATV race in America.

Adam Mcgill has put together a racing team with several veterans, including disabled veteran Justin Wood as race coordinator.

The team will compete in the ‘Vegas to Reno’ desert race in August.

They spent Tuesday working on a $30,000 military-themed ATV.

“The reason we are doing that is it is the hardest race or the longest race in America.  In tribute for thanking everyone that has served, currently served and we have lost, we’ve decided to put a team together and go out and do this race.  Hopefully we bring home a win to everyone in West Virginia and thanking our service men and women for everything that they have done,” Mcgill said.

You can contribute to the 14 man team on its GoFundMe page here.
