Dominion Energy is assisting Health Access Free Clinic with its upcoming expansion project.
Christine Mitchell from Dominion Energy presented a check to Jim Harris and Health Access for $10,000.
The money will be going towards the free clinic’s upcoming renovations to the building that will allow them to now provide dental services to their patients on a permanent basis in their facility.
“We started a year ago receiving a visit twice a month from the mobile dental unit in Charleston. But that really pointed out to us that there is a great need. We were able to justify the expense of going in to building onto our building by recognizing the needs were so great,” said Jim Harris, the Executive Director at Health Access.
The renovations are set to begin later this month and are hoped to be completed by the late spring.
