Senator Shelley Moore Capito will hold four Fall Academy Days this month across West Virginia.
These days offer high school students the chance to learn more about admission to U.S. Service Academies and ROTC scholarships. On September 30, Capito, along with Representative David McKinley will host an Academy Day at University High School in Morgantown.
Capito said service academies provide a great opportunity for students.
“I want our best and bright West Virginia students going to become leaders, not just in the military, but leaders in government and leaders, leaders in the country. And many of these leaders have attended a service academy. You get a great education,” said Senator Shelley Moore Capito.
The Academy Day on September 30 will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.
