As college tuition rises around the country, Glenville State College has been working to avoid that.
The college has announced that it will again cut tuition for the 2018-19 academic year by at least two percent. In addition it will be dropping its Summer 2018 tuition rate by 25 percent.
GSC President Tracey Pellet said, “We are also holding the line on room and board. There will be no additional charges there. The other thing we announced which was, we will be lowering probably over 50 percent of our course fees. We analyzed those, and we found ways we can reduce them.”
Glenville’s college bookstore will also convert to online, lowering the price of books by 30 percent.
