The Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with McMillion Leadership Associates to provide leadership training to community members with a mind toward future growth.
The Pathway to Leadership series is a four-session discussion-based training to help better prepare individuals to adapt and grow in leadership roles. Officials said the sessions are designed to teach participants how to create a tool belt of leadership skills both personal and professional.
“We talk about communication; we talk about performance feedback, emotional intelligence, those topics that people learn on the job. We shorten that learning curve by giving them the opportunities to practice and learn about those different skills,” said McMillion Leadership Associates Founder Mark McMillion.
The series begins on October 16, and individuals can still sign up to participate in training sessions. For more information, visit the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce online.
