Lewis County Schools welcomes new superintendent

Lewis County Schools have welcomed their newest superintendent this week.

Robin Lewis’s term as superintendent in Lewis County started on Sunday.
Lewis is spending the week meeting with everyone in the system, and learning more about the area.
Lewis’ worked with RESA 1 in Beckley, and hopes to bring that experience and more to support students in Lewis County.
“In Beckley, I worked with six counties, six boards, six superintendents, and I like to say I’ve seen the best, and bring all that to Lewis County,” said Lewis.

Lewis has been superintendent in other counties in West Virginia, and has also taught at Lewis County High School in the past.
