More than 450 selected families came together in Fairmont today as ‘Teleperformance’ and ‘North Central West Virginia Community Action’ hosted the ‘Feed the Children’ truck event.

The event would provide food, school accessories and home care products for community needs.

“Teleperformance is a huge company. They have a big heart and we believe in giving back to the communities that we work in. So our employees get to give back to the people that they know, they love, their families. They get to feel proud that I work for somebody that does this,” said Crystal Rucker, call center manager of Teleperformance.

The Marion County library truck, Connecting Link, Hope and Workforce West Virginia were also involved in Wednesday’s event.

‘Feed the Children’ presented not only food and school resources, but job opportunities as well.
