Randolph County teacher receives achievement award

One Randolph County teacher was celebrated during an assembly with the Arch Coal Teacher Achievement Award.

Elkins High School Teacher Susan McCauley was honored during the assembly for her hard work and dedication to the classroom.  Arch Coal has a long history of supporting educators whom they say are well-deserving of recognition.

“The public nominates teachers, outstanding teachers. It shows the dedication and excellence of the teachers here in this region,” said Arch Coal HR Manager Bill Haines.

The public nominates teachers for the annual award and Arch Coal names 10 outstanding West Virginia teachers.
