Students across the nation held peaceful demonstrations Wednesday in favor of gun safety laws.

Morgantown High School students also participated.

Students gathered on the football field, holding signs in support of common sense gun regulations.

“Really represent ourselves. I feel like a lot of times adults and administration and our representatives may not take us that seriously and I feel like this just shows how united we are and how we really just want to go out and speak,” said Danielle Miller, MHS senior.

The demonstration lasted from 9-9:17 a.m. The number 17 represents the 17 people killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
