Employees in White Oaks trade bag lunch for food trucks

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - Lunch breaks look different out at the White Oaks Business Park in Bridgeport thanks to food trucks.

Several businesses with hundreds of employees call the White Oaks area home and it's not unusual for employees from places like Dominion Energy, Thrasher, Antero Resources, and Steptoe and Johnson to walk on their lunch breaks, but now they are walking to visit food trucks like Hash Browns and New Grounds, Heavenly Hoagies, and Smokin' Bear BBQ.

The food truck employees said that its been great to establish a relationship at White Oaks.

"It is really nice because a lot of the times you have to jump through some hoops to find if we are allowed to park here, you can't park here, you need a special permit for this county, so its nice to have a set spot each day of the week," said TJ Coakley, chef at Hash Browns and New Grounds.

Hash Browns and New Grounds visits White Oaks every Tuesday and Thursday and other food trucks rotate the other days of the week.
