The Music and Art departments at Glenville State College were inviting high school seniors to campus Tuesday.
The college held its annual Audition and Portfolio day for high school students interesting in participating in the arts at Glenville State.
Professors said whether or not a student plans to major in fine arts, they still have something to gain from participating in those classes.
“It is a great way to help students try to interpret things from the STEM field that might be a little more abstract to them,” said GSC Professor Jason Barr.
Students who have already decided to attend Glenville State were also able to register for classes before auditioning in the afternoon.
