Harrison County business and community members hold Walk to End Alzheimer’s Leadership roundtable

News

Harrison County residents are taking many steps hoping to stomp out Alzheimer’s disease.

Business and community members held a Walk to End Alzheimer’s Leadership roundtable Tuesday morning in Bridgeport.

The committee met for the first time planning its strategy to reach its goal of $40,000 for Alzheimer’s research.

Volunteers are still needed to help organize the event to be held later on this year.

“Next month February 28th is our volunteer kick off at Mia Margherita at 6 p.m. So, please come out if you’re interested in being part of this wonderful cause and this wonderful organization. Please come out for pizza, drinks and learn more about this organization and how you can contribute your special talents,” Marketing and Outreach Chariperson, Amanda Scott.

The walk to end Alzheimer’s will take place in September.
