CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Harrison County Chamber of Commerce presented its annual awards and recognized the Leadership Harrison 2019 graduates with a dinner Tuesday night at Village Square in Clarksburg.
25 young leaders received recognition and were awarded as Leadership Harrison graduates. The dinner allowed businesses in the area to celebrate the chambers 100 years of service. Clarksburg’s own Jimbo Fisher was keynote speaker at the chamber dinner.
“The chamber has provided us a place where we can send our young professionals through the leadership program they have, it provides educational information related to industry trends, it takes on business issues with the legislature, and it provides networking opportunities for where our employees can come to learn and interact and see other people that are in business,” said Chad Riley, CEO of the Thrasher Group.
Members of the chamber say that 100 years is a long time and they are proud of the history and the accomplishments that’s been achieved.
