Antero Resources raises $58,000 for organizations working with children

Getting people together for a great cause was the focus of one company’s annual fundraiser. 

Antero Resources holds its annual Hearts, Hats and Horses Gala every year in conjunction with the running of the Kentucky Derby. The event raised $58,000 this year and the company chose two organizations to split this money with.

Half of the money with go to the Children’s Home Society of West Virginia and the other half will go to Harrison County CASA, which stand for court appointed special advocate. 

“We are a volunteer based agency and we recruit, screen and train every day citizens to advocate for the best interests of child victims of abuse and neglect in court,” Alisha Madia, executive director.

Antero Resources holds several events throughout the year that raise money for community organizations.
