A local bakery is pitching in to help a family after two members died in a car accident June 19.

Rogers and Mazza’s Bakery donated half the price of a dozen pepperoni rolls to the family of Michael and Braylie Moore.  The father and daughter died in a seven-car accident on Route 50.  The bakery said chipping in to help the family is the least it could do.

“Uh, just to help the family.  I mean, I know money can’t help return loved ones, but you know, to ease the burden.   Nobody wants to have that during a time like this,” said bakery manager Dennis Mazza.

The bakery sold 130 dozen pepperoni rolls before the end of lunch Thursday afternoon.
