The Bridgeport conference center was filled with vendors from all across the state, as the Farmers Market kicked off a new season for 2019 on Sunday.
All counties were represented, as a host of unique Items were available for purchase including wood work, homemade jerky, honey and other items.
“We try to focus on produce and farmers here at the Farmers Market, but especially in the off-season. Crafted goods and a like are a lot more present, another way to off set your business,” said Daniel Reines, a Board of Directors member of the Farmers Market
A fresh, cooked breakfast was also available for visitors for those who wanted to take a break from shopping to enjoy the live music.
The next farmer’s market will take place on February 13 at the Bridgeport Conference Center.
