BRIDGEPORT, W.Va.-“May the 4th be with you”-local children received jedi training on this Star Wars Day.
The Bridgeport Public Library partnered with the Outer Rim Praxeum Lightsaber School to teach traditional lightsaber forms.
Children were taught basic attack and defense moves used within the Star Wars universe and then given the opportunity to duel with one another. The library says these events are always popular within he community.
“We have lots of Star Wars fans in our library. I know lots of our patrons are huge Star Wars fans and it’s just fun for the kids to come and practice,” said children’s librarian Amy Eakle.
Lightsaber training was followed by a crystal scavenger hunt.
