Liberty High School girls Liberty Volleyball Team hosted a car wash fundraiser Saturday at Wendy’s on West Pike Street in Clarksburg and said its about more than just raising money.

Students said they are trying to raise money for extra training camps to get themselves ready for the upcoming volleyball season. Volleyball team members said they have already done quite a few fundraisers and will be hosting some more soon.

“It’s so fun and a team bonding experience, I mean, its amazing to get people to come and get to know them and its just a great time and raising money too,” said Madeline Ritter, Liberty High School Volleyball Team member.

Team members added it’s important for them to bond with each other while raising money. They also say training camps offer great skills for them to get training from different instructors.
