Clarksburg Abatement Order complied with by property owners

Harrison

The Clarksburg Police Department has successfully solved two drug house cases.

According to Clarksburg police, Steven Ramsey, owner of 109 Kelly St. and Jim Greaver and Amanda Fittro, owners of 383 Broaddus Ave., worked with authorities to evict tenants accused of being involved with illegal drug activity.

If all property owners continue to comply with the city’s Crime Free Housing Ordinance through April 1, all cases will be dismissed. The ordinance was made after drug-related incidents were confirmed to have taken place at these locations.

“The City of Clarksburg will continue to work with property owners to ensure Clarksburg continues to be a safe community for families to work, live, and play,” Clarksburg Police Chief Robert Hilliard said.
