The Italian Heritage Festival continued Saturday with the parade.

This is the 40th year of the parade.

The parade started and ended in downtown Clarksburg.

Grandma Ginga was there and was of course a crowd favorite.

There were plenty of opportunities for kids to grab candy and for spectators to donate to causes.

One of the staples of the parade is the Italian Heritage Dancers.

“It’s really fun and you get to know what your ancestors did,” said Bella Hersey, 10. She’s a member of the Italian Heritage Dancers, and has been since she was three years-old.

The Italian Heritage Festival continues with events throughout Saturday night and ends Sunday afternoon.
