It is almost time for the Clarksburg Mission’s largest fundraiser event of the year.

The 15th annual ‘A Night of Hope’ will be held this Friday at the Bridgeport Conference Center. The event is a way for the mission to award volunteers and recognize its partner of the year.

At the event, residents will be able to tell their stories and how the mission provided them with hope.

The mission said the event raises around $40,000 every year.

“Those dollars help us carry through the summer with the ministry that we do. We house nearly 100 men, women and children every night, feed about 300 people every day and we are providing for backpacks for school children every week,” said Chris Mullett, executive director.

A Night of Hope will be Friday, May 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Bridgeport Conference Center. Tickets and sponsorships are still available. For more information, contact the Clarksburg Mission at 304-622-2451.
