The Clarksburg Mission held their annual Christmas Meal on Monday.

Volunteers helped to serve over 80 people.

Visitors were able to enjoy a meal of Ham, bread, corn, and a variety of desserts.

The Clarksburg Mission exists to serve those in the community who have various needs.

The meals were served to the people on this day rather than a cafeteria style set up.

“It’s a great opportunity for people to come in and get out of this cold weather, get a good meal that’s provided by the community,” said Chris Kinney, Vice President for Board of Directors of the Clarksburg Mission. “We’ve got several volunteers here. Just families who decided to come in to share that love and to take care of other people.”

“I was like Mom can we please go to the Clarksburg mission becuase they’re nice people here and it’s Christmas, and we can go get our belly full,” said Haley Wolkman visitor at the Clarksburg Mission.

The food provided for the meal is acquired through various donations from the community.
