The city hosts a Fall Clean Up every year and now will be bringing back the Spring Clean Up. City council decided to bring back two clean ups a year because of its success.
To take advantage of this free service, Clarksburg residents are asked to place items at the curb or in the alley where their normal garbage pick-up is made.
“People put a lot of old appliances, box spring and mattresses, some general debris that they have accumulated from the last year, where the difference right now its along been a few months since the completion of the last clean up,” said Anthony Bellotte, assistant city manager.
For a full list of items that can and can not be included in the clean up and for dates on pick-up for each area, visit the City of Clarksburg’s website.
