Clarksburg Water Board examining plans to replace lines in two communities

Water line upgrades could be coming to the Glen Falls and Arlington Heights areas.

The Clarksburg Water Board met Tuesday to choose from one of two options to upgrade the water system in those communities.

The board moved to proceed on a plan that would replace the existing iron line, starting at Gould Ave., along N. 20th St. and enlarge or replace the line all the way to Snake Hollow Rd. and then over to Jack Run Rd.

Early estimates suggest the project would cost around $800,000.
