State Representative David Mckinley hosted a roundtable event with business owners to discuss issues and resolutions for the community.
Owners brought up a variety of issues during their meeting at the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce that they feel have affected their business positively and negatively.
“The biggest issue that we are hearing is workforce. We heard it time and time again, all the other issues of course. Healthcare has a lot of matters and the conditions of the roads, but the workforce is the biggest problem. So I think what we have to do is take that message back to Washington. How we can put that money into career and technical education.” said Congressman McKinley.
Members of the meeting also brought questions regarding economical development and how they can do their part in helping to grow the area.
