CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – City officials signed the final bond paperwork for the Robinson Grand Theater this morning.
Mayor Cathy Goings, City Manager Martin Howe, and City Clerk Annette Wright met to sign paperwork to ensure permanent financing of the newly renovated theater.
Howe said it’s also a sign of things to come for the theater.
“Now, as the owner of the project, it does continue to open up possibilities for the community overall, just to be ale to be utilized by the community, the region, this whole area,” Howe said.
The city planned for $8.4 million in financing of the $20 million project.
