The Harrison County Board of Education has set a date to vote on the employment status of a Liberty High School administrator accused of bullying a transgender student.

The board went into executive session Thursday to discuss impending legal action brought forward by assistant principal Lee Livengood.

Superintendent Mark Manchin says the board is now determining a course of action on how to proceed.

The board voted previously to not renew his contract following this school year.

Manchin said the board wants to make a decision that is fair for all parties the vote will take place this coming Monday at 3:00 p.m.
