The Harrison County Chamber of Commerce has kicked off its 100th year with its Annual Legislative Preview lunch.
Attendees at the event got the chance to hear form the county’s House of Delegates and State Senate Delegations.
“We would want our members in the business community to be able to connect to our delegates and our representatives down there because even though they’re in Charleston,” said Harrison County Chamber of Commerce, Kathy Wagner. “We want to know them, we want them to be an email or phone call away when they have concerns. So, that’s really the connection we want to make today with our business members.”
Clay County’s new speaker of the house, Roger Hansaw, was the keynote speaker.
