Harrison County mayors discuss fixing West Virginia roads

Harrison

Harrison County mayors met at Clarksburg City Hall Wednesday evening for the mayor’s association meeting.

The group of mayors discussed issues within their respective cities and ideas for how to fix them.

One of the main topics of conversations was the current state of the roads in West Virginia and how more needs to be done to make them safer.

“Well, we have some real problems in the state, I think as far as the governor is not following through with his “road to prosperity” program-and he’s going to have to really do something pretty soon because we have some real bad problems,” said West Milford mayor Richard Himes.

Harrison County mayors will meet again in June.
