CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Highland-Clarksburg Hospital held its third annual Spring conference, Thursday.
It’s the biggest statewide mental health conference of the year for licensed social workers and nurses.
The conference aims to bring mental health professionals together to collaberate on the latest information on treating mental health.
“May is ‘Mental Health Awareness Month’ which is really important, and that’s because we need to be able to provide services to people in our communities to help them with the various issues that they are struggling with,” continuing education coordinator Valerie Hutson.
As many as 70 mental health professionals were in attendance at the conference.
