CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – United Hospital Center’s WVU Medicine Hospice is preparing to hold its “Uplifiting Butterfly Release” program at the VA Park in Clarksburg.

As many as 80 family members of loved ones who received hospice care are expected to attend the release ceremony scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Attendees say the release helps them memorialize their loved ones as they release the butterfly into the wild.

The program will feature special music and a public reading of the names of those who have passed away under UHC’s WVU Medicine Hospice care.
