BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - MVB Bank and Fairmont State University's Athletic Association teamed up for their 27th annual golf tournament on Friday afternoon at the Bridgeport Country Club.
This 18 hole tournament is one of Fairmont State's top fundraisers and proceeds go towards athletic scholarships.
Everyone who participated received a complimentary gift and luncheon as well as a chance to win prizes.
"It's nice to get out to the community, get people involved with a fun event and for a great cause," said Chad Fowler, FSU Director of Athletics.
Both MVB and Fairmont State say they enjoy putting on this event together and that it usually yields a high turnout.
"We greatly value Fairmont State's partnership over the years. We've partnered with them for a number of events throughout the years and we just greatly appreciate their partnership and support," said Tony Merendino of MVB Bank.
