Saturday was the annual Harrison County Science Fair held at the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Educational Center.
Topics for the projects ranged in health and science. Many focused on beverages and how they affect the teeth.
Students from schools all over Harrison County took part in the fair.
They presented their work to judges throughout the day.
“It’s always an interesting time to see what these students come up with. Sometimes in pairs, and sometimes as individuals. But it’s a great opportunity for them to work through a process to do some clinical analytics and it really helps them to grow into their field of study and a part of their curriculums,” Mark Povroznik, judge at the fair.
An awards ceremony took place in the afternoon after all of the judging was complete.
