Penn Station location opens in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – There’s a new place to grab a bite on the go in Clarksburg.

Penn Station East Coast Subs opened its doors at 10:30 Monday morning near the Qdoba and Verizon stores.

The new restaurant is the tenth opened by Roger Kirkland around West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

He said he’s been waiting to find the right place to open in Harrison County, and Emily Drive fit the bill.

“I didn’t believe it was Jerry Dove Drive.  I said it’s this exit, I believe, and that’s what I’d been shown.  And sure enough, when the space became available, we jumped on it,” said Kirkland.

The restaurant is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
