Primanti Brothers to pick up wedding tab for couples engaged at restaurant on Valentine’s Day

They say there’s no such thing as a free lunch, but Primanti Brothers is offering just that, with a small catch.

The restaurant is offering to pay for the wedding of any couple that gets engaged at one of their locations on valentine’s day. If the lucky lady or gentleman says “yes” to the question, the restaurant will invite them to a group wedding ceremony in Pittsburgh this summer and Primanti Brothers will pick up the tab.

“We really hope that we get some great turnout and we have some wonderful proposals,” operations director Stan Weinstein said. “If anybody wants to let us know in advance, we’ll keep the secret for you. You can give us a heads up and then we can help surprise everyone once you pop the question, maybe do a little celebrating right at that point in time.”

The group ceremony will take place at Primanti Brothers’ original location in the historic Strip District in downtown Pittsburgh. In addition to the wedding, couples will receive a catered reception for them and a limited number of friends and family.
