CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Downtown Clarksburg will be undergoing some changes over the next few months thanks to a new investment.

DanMatt LLC Real Estate has purchased a group of buildings on S. 3rd St.:  The Fifth Floor Building and the adjacent building that houses PDQ Print Shop and Home Industry Bakery.

According to the City of Clarksburg, the owners plan to tear down the bakery and print shop to build a 20-space parking lot.

The old Fifth Floor Building will be turned into a high-end martini and wine bar, as well as a restaurant and, eventually, a rooftop bar.

The print shop’s operations will be shifted to the MPB locations in Bridgeport and Morgantown after June 1.
