On Thursday, Salem University hosted its Religious Diversity Discussion Forum as a spring lecture series on its campus.
The forum was sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to provide collaboration between students, the administration, and the community as a whole. Members of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes stated that they wants everyone to know that it’s okay to be understanding of people, of different faiths, and to be accepting of others.
“We have so many diverse people on campus and we thought it would be nice to kind of mix the faiths a little bit, try and get people to be more understanding of the differences in people and culture,” said Cassidy Pluta, Salem University President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes said that they are trying to get their group up and running with increased membership with more community involvement.
