The lights on top of the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center shined through the snow for a concert Sunday night.

Solo Pianist George Winston performed some of his latest works at the center. With over 40 years experience sharing his music across the country, the concert showcased his upcoming album ‘Spring Carousel,’ a cancer research benefit album.

Guests were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items as donations for the Clarksburg Mission. Representatives were in the lobby collecting donations to give back to the community.

“We’re just blessed by the generosity of all kinds of folks who have a heart for those that are hungry, those that are homeless and those that are struggling. So it’s a great night tonight in Clarksburg,” said Lou Ortenzio, executive director at the Clarksburg Mission.

Proceeds from the merchandise table for Winston’s performance also went to benefit the Clarksburg Mission.
