‘Superman’ will be heading to Harrison County to promote film


‘Superman’ will be making his way to Harrison County.  Actor Dean Cain will be in the Bridgeport area to finalize the production of a new Christmas film called ‘Megan’s Christmas Miracle.’  

‘Megan’s Christmas Miracle’ is a faith inspired film celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. It’s an enchanting story about a young teenager that finds hope in a magical nativity display at her church.

“The film is about a young girl that moves to a small coal-mining town in West Virginia.  Most of the film has already been shot, and all of it was filmed in West Virginia. Dean is here a few days to finalize a several scenes so the film can be ready by this Christmas,” said Jason Campbell, BMC Productions. 

​The film will also star West Virginia’s own Brooklyn Nelson, who plays young Elsa in Disney’s FROZEN the Broadway Musical in New York City.

 ​West Virginian and former POW Jessica Lynch will be spending the day on set with Dean.

To promote the film, Dean Cain and Jessica Lynch will be hosting a meet and greet at The Wonder Bar Steakhouse on Wednesday, June 6 from 6:30-8 p.m..
