Ghouls and Goblins showed up to the first trunk-or-treat put on by businesses and companies in the White Oaks Development Monday night.
Over 20 organizations came out to The Thrasher Group parking lot. Cars decked out in themes such as ghost busters, and candy land handed out treats throughout the evening.
The Mountaineer and Freddie the Falcon mascots even showed up to help the kids fill in their bags. Thrasher group said this was a great opportunity to give back to the community and planned to hold the event in their lot again.
“This day was an absolute success, even with the weather and the cold weather, people are still out here in full force,” said Devanna Corley, Director of Business Development with Thrasher Group.
“Costumes are great, kids look great out here and we really excited,” said Kevin Hanks, Proposal Manager.
The group hopes to make this an annual event.
